Is this real?

This is firstly a THEATRICAL event, but much of what you will see and hear is based upon historical research.

Where does it begin?

At the Railroad Station in front of Wooton Park’s splash park, on Main St. in downtown Tavares.

What time should we arrive?

Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to departure time.

What should we wear?

Comfortable walking shoes and weather appropriate clothing.

Are there stairs?

We may encounter a few steps but no long stairways.

What happens if it rains?

There is a roof over the waiting area of the Railroad Station, but do bring an umbrella. If the weather becomes severe, we may postpone or cancel. These decisions will be made at departure time. Cancelled tours may be rescheduled or refunded.

What is the size of the tour group?

Tour sizes vary, but are typically 15 – 20 people.

Where do we park?

There is plenty of on-street parking; a parking lot by the lake on Ruby St.; a parking garage up Main St.

Is the tour wheelchair-friendly?

Yes.

Are the stories true or made up?

The ghost stories are based upon historical facts. Many are 100% true.

Are private tours available?

Yes. Call us to arrange a special date and time for your private group of at least 10 people.

Are we going to see ghosts? Is the séance real?

There have been legitimately unusual sights and sounds in downtown Tavares, and we will supplement these stories with special effects, for your entertainment pleasure. The séance is strictly for entertainment purposes.
